You don’t need to be John Maynard Keynes to know that the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts hurt our national balance sheet.

He promised to pay off the National Debt within 10 years.

So shouldn’t he should be blamed for the ENTIRE Debt at the time he left Office, not just the massive increase?

“After paying the bills, my plan reduces the national debt, and fast. So fast, in fact, that economists worry that we’re going to run out of debt to retire. That would be a good worry to have.” — Lil’ Georgie Progie, Feb 2001

It’s the republican marketing. When the CBO was predicting budget surpluses, Bush ran on the idea that there should be tax cuts because “it’s your money after all”. Then when the economy went south, we needed more tax cuts “to stimulate the economy”. No matter the problem, the answer is always to cut taxes.

Obama has had 3 years to fix the problem
    And he has failed

Democrats always blame their own failures on someone else

You don’t need to be Adam Smith to know that a nation’s economy (actually, it should be a state, nation is a people of common culture) is always based on debt. It is not like a business, where it is meant to be profitable, it is a state that has to constantly invest and create wealth through economical and social value.

The president had nothing to do with this, it is geo-politico-economical globalization and the shift in social and economic poles that did this, not our president.

We didn’t have a surplus under Clinton, however, our debt had been reduced. The answer is we should blame the W administration, they were on watch when the economy fell apart, then they threw Trillions of dollars out in stimulus funds, after they spent trillions (“off budget” whatever crap that implies) on wars, one of which should never have been fought. They left the country a mess and now their buddies are pointing the finger at the current administration, what a bunch of hypocrites.

The government needs to live within its means. Stop increasing the government spending. Freeze hiring of ALL government workers. Freeze all taxes where they are. Close ALL loopholes. Flat Tax where the more you make the more you pay. That would be equal under the law. -… ….

The Republicans want the mess to be blamed on Obama. It’s the same thing they did with Carter. Unless you were around at the time, you’d never know today that Carter INHERITED a serious recession from two previous Republican presidents, Nixon and Ford. The Republicans fought every attempt he made to fix the economy, then they blamed him for the problem. They just kept repeating it until the media began saying it too, and then it was something everyone ‘knew’.

The Republicans have no incentive now to heal the economy. They won’t work with Obama because if anything postiive is achieved by bipartsian cooperation, the know Obama gets most of the credit. They want people to get more and more angry and frustrated and vote for ‘hope and change’ once again next year.

Bush should be blamed for the crap he did (e.g., TARP). Barry should be blamed for the sh*t he’s dumped on us (e.g., high unemployment, massive debt, massive spending, ObamaCare, no “hope & change”…….)

However the time for blaming Bush has long passed since its BARRY’S sh*t that we are currently dealing with. We can’t afford another year of this looser, let alone another four!
